I LOVED your class. Historically I've been nervous in yoga classes -- it was hard to shake the "I'm not doing it right" feeling so I would get stressed -- the opposite outcome of why i was there. Your class was just lovely. Relaxing, gentle, and welcoming. I'm excited for Monday! Elle C., Sebastopol, CA New Student in Therapeutic Yoga, Retired Copywriter

I've been a student of Kashi's since Sept. 2021. I couldn't imagine my life without her Therapeutic Yoga and the Friday Basics. My husband died two years ago; in the past two years I've had many life changes. TriYoga has kept me grounded and healthy during this often stressful time. My back has stayed pain-free, and I'm working on my glitchy knee. TriYoga is part of my life, and I am grateful. Kashi is a wonderful teacher, and TriYoga is a beautiful practice. Equal emphasis is placed on pranayama, asana, and meditation, which is not the case in most yoga classes. Like many people, I had taken yoga from a variety of teachers before coming to Kashi's classes. To me it felt from the beginning that I had arrived right where I was supposed to be. This style of yoga is truly transformative. I love that Kashi's classes are available in-person or online. I also love to practice with her videos. These videos are of high quality and are not videos of a class, but are produced just for rental purposes. They are almost as good as a live class, maybe better in that you have all the privacy you might want. I've also benefitted with private classes, where I've found that Kashi provides the right guidance that I need in the moment. Again, transformative. Sally M. Santa Rosa, CA
~ My life was brought to a complete stop 11 years ago by a computer injury to my upper body. I am a physician whose work now is primarily on computers, unfortunately for my body. I was a Kaiser physician for 7 years working 60% time s and spending at least 80 hours a week on the computer in non ergonomic workstations.
After 7 years my body broke. I developed thoracic outlet syndrome which is a nasty injury from repetitive stressful movement involving my neck, shoulders, chest and upper back I ended up not being able to work and with limited use of my upper extremities. I could not cook, clean, buy groceries, read books and I was not able to practice the profession I loved . At that time I had been a doctor for 18 years. I was in despair.
I was off work for 7.5 years and in misery . About 6 years into my forced retirement I was introduced to Kashi and TriYoga. At first everything in her classes were painful even child's pose. However I started from the beginning with Kashi's basic class. With her guidance, I learned how to relax in postures, not to strain, that movement to and from a pose is just as important as the pose and how to empty my mind and be present in my yoga and in life physically, mentally and spiritually. With Kashi's encouragement and sweet and gentle teaching, slowly my body relearned how to move or be still and not be in pain.
Kashi is a gem with her calm inspirational teaching. TriYoga is a very special type of yoga, A slow and gentle yoga with incredible strengthening of body, mind, and spirit. The flowing movements are like a dance, a cosmic dance. I love that I have become much stronger physically and spiritually.
Now I am moving in ways I never even imagined without pain and with grace. My spirit is much calmer and I can appreciate life more fully. And I have been back at work for almost 4 years!!!! I am working on the computer but only in ergonomic settings and for the right amount of time. I never could have made this transformation without Kashi Ananda and TriYoga.
